This is in appreciation of the great financial efforts and charitable influence adopted by President Nguema of Equatorial Guinea in assisting the African Union (AU) finance and programs.
Indeed, he has taken the position of the late Muammar Al-Qathafi of Libya in assisting the AU.
Take the case of AFCON 2015, (African Cup of Nations, 2015) when Morocco disappointed Africa or the African Union, His Excellency Teodoro Nguema and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea took up the expenses and the entire period of hosting Africa and the world, the act of a veritable Pan-Africanist a la Kwame Nkrumah and W.E.B. Du Bois.
